WPF2007 National Competition & Junior Competition

1. Requirement for Holding Competitions

○ Nations that have at least 10 approved clubs by June 30, 2007
- Clubs being able to participate: Clubs approved by June 30
- We are going to make the following change for pending clubs because they can’t make any activities in their club site until it is opened:

1) If the pending club has at least 5 members, we will open your club site to make activities
(This rule will be applied in the last week of May)
2) Pending clubs that grow to at least 15 silver members will get an approval by June 30.

2. Division

○ WPF2007 National competition (Players who have joined approved clubs by June 30, 2007)
- FREESTYLE (1 person, or 1 team of 2 people)
(Members of a Freestyle team should BOTH belong to the same club)
- SPEED Male, Female (Players can’t participate in both divisions and there is no age limit)

○ Junior competition (Players who have joined approved clubs by July 10, 2007)
- SPEED 14 years old and under (born Sept. 1, 1992 or later): Male, Female
- SPEED 15 ~ 17 years old (born Sept. 1, 1989~ Aug. 31, 1992): Male, Female

3. How to Participate

○ Selected players with Silver memberships in approved Clubs at piugame.com
- Be aware that you can only be selected from the club that you joined as a Silver member
- Number of participants determined by Club rankings (Each nation)

√ In case your Club doesn’t have players for each division, participate in divisions that have them.

√ Club leaders must check participants’ personal information (name & age) and
identification photos.
In case of giving wrong information, winners and club can’t win money prizes.

√ Club leaders who are allotted a number of participants for the WPF2007 National competition and Junior competition must make their competitions by fair rules. After selecting players, they must report to the WPF Organizing Committee. Bronze members cannot participate in the competition.

√ Benefits for Top Clubs
- Selection of top Clubs among all nation’s Clubs which have and create activities
until Dec. 31, 2007
- World ranking: 1st place: US$5,000 2nd place: US$3,000 3rd place: US$1,500

* In case of cheating to earn points, 3 times the included item’s points will be deducted.
e.g.) Movie: 30 points * 3 = 90 points (minus factors)

√ Club leaders must have a bank account.

Ledline, read the "WPF Grand Final" post. There's no mention of a Junior division.

In regular national competition, preliminary/quarter-finals are played on crazy and semi-finals/finals are played on nightmare. Is it the same for the junior competition or is it different?
